Get answers to common questions about Hena.

We use high-quality natural henna and perform a patch test before full application to check for reactions. Clients with severe allergies should consult a physician; black henna or additives are not used at Spa Elegant.

Most Hena stains last between one and four weeks depending on skin type, placement, and aftercare. Hands and palms darken faster but may fade sooner; moisturizing and avoiding exfoliation prolong results.

We recommend waiting 24-48 hours after waxing or threading to allow skin to recover. Freshly treated skin may be sensitive and lead to patchy color; a short wait ensures safer, more even stain absorption.

Fresh henna paste can transfer until fully dried and sealed. Avoid light fabrics and keep designs wrapped for a few hours. Once paste is removed and stain set, laundering carefully prevents permanent marks.

Keep the area dry for several hours, avoid exfoliation, and moisturize with gentle oils like coconut or olive. Avoid chlorine and heavy scrubbing. We provide specific aftercare guidance and recommend natural oils to extend color life.

Traditional henna can safely color hair and condition the scalp, but our Hena service focuses on skin designs. If you want hair application, book a dedicated treatment so we can prepare pure, tested henna and assess suitability.
