Results commonly last two to four weeks, though faster or slower regrowth can occur depending on individual hair cycle, hormones, and care. Regular maintenance appointments extend smoothness and can reduce regrowth thickness over time.

Some clients feel mild stinging, but sessions are brief and discomfort subsides quickly. Our experienced therapists use gentle techniques and quality wax to minimize pulling. We can recommend pre- and post-care to soothe skin and reduce sensitivity.

Ensure hair is at least 3–4 mm (about 1/8 inch) for effective removal. Clean skin, avoid heavy creams or oils, and arrive with polish removed if possible. Avoid alcohol beforehand and notify us of any skin conditions or medications.

We prefer nails free of polish so we can work precisely around cuticles and nail beds. If polish remains, technicians will still wax surrounding skin but may need extra caution; remove polish for best hygiene and optimal results.

Temporary redness, mild swelling, or sensitivity is common and usually fades within hours to a day. Small bumps or ingrown hairs can occur; follow aftercare, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and avoid hot baths or heavy activity immediately post-treatment.

Book maintenance every three to six weeks depending on your hair growth rate and desired smoothness. Regular appointments keep regrowth finer over time; our staff will recommend an ideal schedule based on your individual hair cycle and results.
