Get answers to common questions about Full Legs.
Full-leg waxing usually keeps legs smooth for three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and personal hormones. Results vary by individual; with regular waxing, many clients see longer intervals between treatments and finer regrowth over time.
Sensitivity varies, but trained therapists use techniques to minimize discomfort, including skin tension, appropriate wax temperature, and quick removal. Numbing creams can be used on request. Regular waxing also reduces pain over time as hair becomes finer.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy moisturizers on the day of waxing. Aim for hair to be at least 1/4 inch long (about two weeks growth). Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to help prevent ingrown hairs.
No — shaving or depilatory creams remove hair at the skin surface, preventing the wax from gripping the root. For effective waxing, allow hair to grow to about 1/4 inch. If you have a problem, consult our therapist for options.
We recommend wearing loose, breathable clothing for 24 hours after your full-leg wax to reduce irritation and friction. Tight or synthetic garments can trap sweat, increasing the chance of redness or ingrown hairs during the healing period.
Certain conditions like active skin infections, severe varicose veins, recent laser treatments, sunburn, or some medications (retinoids, blood thinners) may contraindicate waxing. Disclose medical history and medications when booking so our therapist can advise or suggest alternatives.
